Lego Mindstorm
Dive into the thrill of robotics through the creation of robots using the Lego Mindstorms Inventor Building Set. Train your robot to perform tricks, avoid obstacles, dance, and more! Students will develop their teamwork, presentation, mathematics, and science skills in this course.
Cost: $750 + materials ($400)
Per 5-week session
Materials include the Lego Mindstorms Robot Inventor Building Set. Materials need only be purchased for one session (i.e., $400 total for both sessions).

All classes include 4 hours of instruction and up to 4 hours of open lab time weekly.

1-3rd graders: Mon/Wed @ 1-3 PM CST

4-6th graders: Mon/Wed @ 3-5 PM CST

7-8th graders: Mon/Wed @ 9-11 AM CST
*Classes will not meet on Monday, July 5th, for Independence Day.

Complexity of course concepts increases with grade level.

Session 2 will be divided into returning students and new students, where returning students will continue building upon Session 1 concepts while new students will start from the beginning of Session 1 concepts
